MPA Day in ten Hoor, Tuesday, February 10th

College of Arts & Sciences undergraduate students are cordially invited to meet Master of Public Administration (MPA) students from the Department of Political Science from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in the lobby of ten Hoor Hall to learn more about The University of Alabama’s MPA program.

What is an MPA? The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a professional degree for people who want to pursue careers in the public service. Career paths may take MPAs to federal, state, or local government, as well as nonprofit organizations.

Who can earn an MPA? The MPA is for people with any undergraduate major. The MPA is often the right choice for liberal arts majors who want to gain valuable professional skills while maintaining a classic liberal arts approach to education. The MPA also often serves students with backgrounds in communication, education, engineering, science, social work, or business.

If you are wondering what direction you will take following graduation, be sure to come out and talk to current MPA students at our MPA Day information table in ten Hoor Hall’s lobby on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The priority due date for MPA applications is May 1, 2015 for Fall 2015 admission. For more information, see our MPA Program website.
