Congratulations to Ben Borja on His CLT Fellowship!

Ben Borja, an international studies and political science double major, has been awarded the highly competitive Critical Language Scholarship to study Mandarin. Ben will be enrolled in an intensive, 8-week online program based in Dalian, China, which will combine language study with cultural activities.

Ben Borja is scheduled to graduate from the University of Alabama in May 2022, after which he hopes to pursue graduate education in Taiwan.

Borja has previously received the Dean’s Award of Merit from the College of Arts and Sciences.
