Emma Kenny, a junior political science major, has been accepted to present her research at the MPSA 2022. At the conference, Emma will present the preliminary findings of her research “Creating a Global Public: The Case of Al Jazeera’s the Stream.”

Kenny has also received a full ASSURE fellowship in Spring 2021 to support this research.

Under the supervision of Dr. Elif Kalaycioglu, Kenny’s research analyzes Al Jazeera’s participatory program the Stream, to explore how international media takes part in constructing a global public.
