Political Science Professor Discusses the Impact of Sexism on Hillary Clinton’s Prospects in Washington Post Column

Political Science Professor Nichole Bauer published a column titled “Here’s what the research tells us about whether sexism is hurting Hillary Clinton’s prospects”  in “The Monkey Cage,” which is a politics column published by the Washington Post. Dr. Bauer is a political psychologist and has published numerous articles on the effects of gender stereotypes on the success of female political candidates. She recently received the Best Article in Political Behavior Award from the Elections, Public Opinion and Voting Behavior section of the American Political Science Association for her article “The Relationship Between Campaign Negativity, Gender and Campaign Context.”
